Eris

Terms of service

Effective October 22, 2026

These terms apply when you use Eris: the Dashboard at app.erisdeploy.com, the agent you install on your servers, Eris's builders and registry, and the assistant tools. By signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Eris.

Eris is run by its two founders, Alexander Satretdinov and Ruslan Kosolapov, individuals living in Bulgaria. In these terms, "we" and "us" means the two of us, and "you" means the person who signs in. Write to us at hello@erisdeploy.com.

Your account

What you may not do

You may not use Eris to build, store or run anything that:

If you do, we may delete your account, with or without notice. We will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.

Your content

Your code, images, variables and data stay yours. You give us permission to copy, build, store and send them only as far as running Eris for you requires: building your repository, keeping the image in Eris's registry, and handing it and your variables to your servers. We do not look at your code or data except to answer you, to fix something that broke, or to stop abuse.

Your apps run on your servers, and you answer for them: what they serve, the data they hold, and the backups you keep. What Eris does with your personal data is in the Privacy policy.

Price

Eris is free while it is young, up to five servers and ten apps per account. Your servers, domains and storage buckets are bought from their own providers and are not ours to charge for. If we ever start charging, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before, and nothing you already run will be charged without your agreement.

An early product

Eris is an early alpha under active development. Features change or go away, and some changes will break how you use it. We try to keep it running and your data safe, but we promise no uptime, and Eris is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows.

Eris is not a backup. Keep your own copy of your code and of any data you cannot afford to lose.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account from Settings, under Account; the Privacy policy says what goes with it and what stays on your own machines. We may end Eris, or your access to it, with 30 days' notice by email, unless you broke these terms. Once your account is gone, the addresses Eris gave your apps stop answering, and what runs on your servers stays there until you remove it.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or downtime arising from your use of Eris, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not let us limit, such as for intent or gross negligence.

You agree to hold us harmless from claims by others arising from what you deploy with Eris or from breaking these terms.

Changes

When these terms change, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to how you use Eris, we email you before it takes effect. Using Eris after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria, and the courts of Bulgaria settle any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to your own courts. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
